Ministering Through Words

I believe wholeheartedly that our identity is rooted in Christ Jesus. Developing identity is something that we all struggle with throughout our lives but adolescents often struggle most to understand who they are and why they exist. Just as Jesus used parables to explain the complexities of life, I believe fictional novels can be used to minister to adolescents in this stage of "identity v. confusion." How do I plan to do that? Through the books I write, the books I sell, and the community I can offer them in a bookstore.

My Projects

Imagine This: From Pain to Possibility

Published in December of 2020, Imagine This was my first title to make the market. It has currently sold about 75 copies and continues to receive positive feedback from readers. My next step with Imagine This is to turn it into an ebook, reaching a new market of readers.

The Criminal

The Criminal is an 83,500-word novel finished in June of 2021. The novel twists the story of Goldilocks and begins the Once Upon a Tome series telling the story of 6 strong women who chose their identities and fight for equality. I am currently querying agents regarding The Criminal.

The Beauty

The Beauty follows The Criminal in the Once Upon a Tome series. The novel is a twist on the story of Beauty and the Beast in which the protagonist must overcome not only the identity society labels her with but her medical condition. At present, the novel is 50% complete at 50,100 words and I continue to write the novel.

My Bookstore

My dream is to write novels in my spare time while running an independent (indie) bookstore. This bookstore would sell both second-hand and new books as well as coffee (at the back) and small gifts (at the counter). While I continue to save funds and research for my bookstore, this dream is in the beginning stages.
